Training and Experience
Dalena is a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR clinician, Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery, and Board Certified-Music Therapist. She has worked in mental health, music therapy and wellness for over 30 years providing individual and group therapy to all ages.
Dalena has a bachelor degree in Music Therapy and is Board Certified through CBMT. Her master's degree is in Counseling, and she is independently licensed in the state of Arizona. Post master level training includes the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music (a depth psychotherapy ) through Mid-Atlantic, MARI (mandala assessment research instrument) registered practitioner, and EMDR clinician.
Dalena has worked in private practice for 25 years helping individuals, groups, providing continuing education, supervising students and professionals, and teaching at the university level and keynote speaking. In her nearly 35 years of experience, she has worked in state hospitals, outpatient agencies, non-profits and at ASU, Argosy University, and Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.
